Robert Bruce Jr.
Robert is a fluent Gwich’in speaker. He is often chosen as an interpreter for Elders at meetings and workshops. Through his involvement as Member of the Legislative Assembly, Chief of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation and membership on boards and committees, Robert has developed a well-rounded perspective on politics and the community. Robert has been extensively involved in translating and interpreting for the Vuntut Gwitchin Oral History Project. Robert also has the major strength of a respected community member with a wealth of knowledge of the Gwich’in culture and the political background of VGG.
